Terms of Service
1. Scope of Service
We provide two distinct categories of artisanal work:
  • Bespoke Garments: Custom-designed pieces made to your specific body measurements through a series of consultations and fittings.
  • Made-to-Order Accessories: Handcrafted items produced upon request based on existing studio designs, but tailored to your specific material or color preferences.
2. The Fitting Process (Bespoke Only)
  • Standard Schedule: A standard commission includes two (2) scheduled fittings. These are essential to ensuring the structural integrity and precise fit of your garment.
  • Additional Fittings: Should extra fittings be required due to design changes requested by the client after production has started, or due to significant changes in physical measurements, additional labor fees may apply.
  • Appointment Policy: It is the client's responsibility to attend fittings. Delays in attending appointments will result in a revised completion date.
3. Made-to-Order Accessories
Accessories are handcrafted specifically for your order. Unlike bespoke garments, these generally do not require fittings. Once an order for a made-to-order accessory is confirmed and materials are sourced, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded for a change of mind.
4. Lifetime Structural Guarantee
We provide a Lifetime Structural Guarantee on all items. This reflects our commitment to sustainable, high-quality fashion.
  • What is covered: Structural repairs including split seams, stitching failure, or malfunctions of hardware (zippers, clasps, fastenings). These will be repaired free of charge for the life of the garment/accessory.
  • What is not covered: General fabric wear (pilling, thinning), stains, accidental damage (tears/snags), or damage caused by improper cleaning methods.
  • Maintenance: To maintain the guarantee, we recommend only using professional dry cleaning services experienced with delicate designer fabrics.
5. Payments and GST
  • GST Inclusion: All prices displayed on our website and in quotes are inclusive of 15% GST, in accordance with the New Zealand Fair Trading Act.
  • Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission and begin the sourcing of fabrics.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full prior to the collection or shipment of the finished piece.
6. Intellectual Property
All original sketches, patterns, and design concepts remain the exclusive intellectual property of the studio. Commissioning a piece does not grant the right to replicate the design for commercial use.
